- Both of the images are a style of an eye level close up. Mine being a medium close up and the second being a close up. Both capturing intense focus on the artists.
- Both artists have similar hair which is of a rock style - being long and messy.
- Make - up: Both artists are wearing eyeliner. The association of males wearing eyeliner is with those associated with the rock genre.
- Clothing: Both are wearing simple black clothing.
- Another feature of rock which shows through the model for my magazine is the showing of his tattoos - Also relating to the masthead of the magazine 'Scarred'.
- The lighting on both images is very light, this is a good contrast with the darkness of the artists.
- The model on my cover is showing an expression which portrays attitude - with no smile. This gives a bold perpresentation of my magazine.
- This attitude is also a representation of age which helps to address and get the attention of my target audience.

Research and Planning: Changes and Drafts of contents page
Contents page
- I then decided to improve my contents page by adding guides to make my collumns more accurate and also place my images in accurate places.
- I decided to use my top image on my contents page as black and white to match the story of 'Change Of Looks' I chose black and white and the story would be simplistic as the artist is stripped down to find out all their information.
- I also downloaded a style of brush from 'BRUSHEEZY' to create the splat brush effect on my page and created text onto this.
